Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu known as Chennakesava, which means beautiful [ chenna ] Vishnu [ Keshava ].

The main temple is a unique star-shaped structure set on a raised platform called Jagati. with Garbhagriha [ inner sanctum], Sukanasi [vestibule], and a Navranga mandapa.
