NEET-UG @ 2022

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST [ NEET (UG) – 2022] will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages, as a uniform entrance examination for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental /AYUSH and other Colleges/ Deemed Universities /Institutes (AIIMS & JIPMER) in India, as per Section 14 of The National Medical Commission (NMC) Act, 2019 and relevant Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER) 1997, as amended from time to time. The languages in which the NEET (UG) 2021 would be conducted are: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

NEET 2022 Registration

NEET 2022 registration and application form process is expected to be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in March 2022. The exam is likely to be conducted in the first week of May.

NEET 2022 Eligibility Criteria


Before proceeding with filling up the NEET 2022 registration form, aspirants should make sure that they fill the eligibility criteria for NEET. The criteria are given below:

  1. Applicants should pass the Class 12 Board exam or equivalent from a recognized institute in PCMB as compulsory subjects.

  2. Applicants who have appeared for the Board exam and are awaiting results are also able to apply.

  3. Candidates should secure a minimum of 50 percent aggregate in the qualifying exam (45 percent for Person with Disabilities and 40 percent for SC, ST, and OBC candidates).

  4. The minimum age of applicants should be 17 years as of December 31, 2022, and there is no upper age limit.

  5. Candidates should be I Nationals or Non-Resident Indians, Overseas Citizens of India, Persons with Indian Origin, and Foreign Nationals.

Documents To Keep Ready for NEET 2022 Registration


Candidates should keep the following documents and information ready before filling out the NEET 2022 application form


Scanned Photograph:

  1. Passport size and postcard size (both), 10 Kb to 200 Kb [ passport size ]

  2. The photograph must not be older than 3 months, 4"x6", 10 KB to 200 KB [ postcard size ]

  3. The name of the candidate and date must be printed below the photograph

Scanned Signature: Signature of the candidate in black ink on white background- 4 Kb to 30 K

Scan of thumb impression: Left-hand thumb impression Should be on white paper with blue ink-10 Kb to 200 Kb
